How to apply

In order to apply, please send an email to summerschool2018@matterwaveoptics.eu. You should include your CV, a letter of motivation, and an abstract for a poster that you would like to present at the summer school (template). You should also include the two email addresses of people who would be happy to provide a short letter of reference. Finally, you should indicate in your email whether or not you would require financial assistance.

There is a limited number of places available, which will be allocated on a basis of excellence only.

Deadline for the first selection round: 15. July 2018.

Registration fee

The registration fee for the summer school and conference together is 500€ if paid by July 31, 550€ if paid in advance via online, and 580€ if paid on site. The registration fee does not include accommodation, which amounts to 50€ per night per person.

Scholarships

Thanks to the co-organisation of the school by AtomQT (a COST network) we will have a number of scholarships available, all given on the basis of excellence with extra funding taken into account.

Conference

Students who wish to attend the summer school will also be expected to go to the conference. However, in exceptional circumstances it may be possible for students to attend the summer school only.

The accommodation at the conference venue is very limited. Therefore, if you would like to go to the conference even if you are not selected for the Summer School, then you are strongly advised to register for the conference asap. If selected then the conference fees will be adjusted accordingly.
